Position Available: Full-Time
Olive & Orchard Hair and Beauty Salon, located in the beautiful countryside of Stanley, Durham, is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Salon Hair Apprentice.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position combining hands-on salon experience with structured study towards a 2-year NVQ Level 2 qualification in Hairdressing. Working alongside our experienced stylists, you’ll gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and confidence in a professional salon environment while learning the foundations of a successful hairdressing career.
You’ll be supported throughout your apprenticeship by a friendly, knowledgeable team who are passionate about training and development.
Requirements:
- A strong interest in hairdressing and the salon industry
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship programme
- Flexibility to work as part of a salon team, including weekends

- You’ll be confident in Builder Gel, Gel Nails and Nail Art, with experience across a range of beauty treatments including:
Spa Pedicures
Brow Waxing & Tinting
Lash Tinting & Lifts
