What a night to be proud of!
Following our exciting news about being named finalists in the North East Hair & Beauty Awards 2026, we’re delighted to share that our Olive & Orchard and Woodland Spa teams came away from the awards with some wonderful recognition.
A very special congratulations goes to Julie, our Salon Manager, who was awarded Highly Commended – Entrepreneur of the Year 2026. Julie plays such an important part in Olive & Orchard, from supporting the team and looking after our clients to helping the salon continue to grow. This recognition is a lovely reflection of her passion, dedication and everything she puts into the business.
We’re also incredibly proud of Susie, our Head Massage Therapist at Woodland Spa, who was awarded Highly Commended – Massage Therapist of the Year. Susie’s care, skill and expertise are a huge part of the experience she creates for every guest, so it was wonderful to see her work recognised on the night.

Awards are a lovely opportunity to celebrate what we do, but it’s the people behind the treatments, hair appointments and client experiences who really make the difference.
Being shortlisted across categories including Hair & Beauty Salon of the Year, Salon Newcomer of the Year, Salon Decor of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Massage Therapist of the Year was an achievement in itself.
Not everyone who was shortlisted takes home an award, but that certainly doesn’t make their achievement any less important. Every nomination represented the hard work, creativity, talent and commitment of the people behind our salon and spa.
